The PRIMO database, sponsored by the Association for College and Research Libraries, promotes and shares peer-reviewed instructional materials created by librarians to teach people about discovering, accessing, and evaluating information.
The award recognizes the online interactive game, “Library Scene: Fairfield Edition,” which was created by librarians Philip Bahr, Curtis Ferree, and Jessica McCullough, and staff at the Media Center, particularly Karen Connolly. The purpose of the game is to instruct first year students about the services the library offers and orient them to the building.
The Library’s work on the game is highlighted by a Site of the Month interview on the PRIMO website. The interview can be found by clicking here.
