FUSA Student Leader Scholarship Application

The application for the FUSA Student Leader Scholarship is now available, and can be found here!

On a year to year basis, the amount for the scholarship can vary, but is usually somewhere between $500-$1,000. We are able to award this to deserving Fairfield University students through the fundraising efforts of FUSA throughout the year.

The application is due no later than Monday, April 29th at 3 PM, and can be submitted to Fred Kuo, Director of Student Involvement, in BCC 100. Feel free to contact Mark Evans, mark.evans@student.fairfield.edu, with any questions.

It should be noted that you do not necessarily have to be on FUSA to win the scholarship.

Ticket Sales Information: Kendrick Lamar, Dogwoods and 2016 Field Day

For those looking to purchase tickets for upcoming FUSA events, look no further!

Student tickets for the Spring Concert, featuring Kendrick Lamar on May 1st, are $25 and can be purchased at the information desk. Guest tickets can be purchased here for $40.

Tickets for the Dogwoods Dance, which is Saturday, May 13th are $10 at the information desk.

Last, but certainly not least, tickets for the 2016 Field Day on April 28th can be bought for $30, also at the information desk.

Kendrick Lamar Ticket Information

Tickets for FUSA’s Spring Concert, Kendrick Lamar and 5 & a Dime, will be on sale starting on April 2nd! From April 2nd-5th, ticket sales will be exclusive to Fairfield University students at the BCC Information Desk. Only one ticket will be allowed per Stag Card, and student tickets are $25.

Starting April 8th, tickets will be available to guests at a price of $40. At this time, an online link will be made available.

Students who have already bought a student ticket will be allowed to purchase additional tickets, but they will be charged at the $40 guest rate.

As a reminder, the show is on May 1st, the last day of classes. Doors open at 7, and the show begins at 8. Get your tickets now!

FUSA Spring Concert is Kendrick Lamar!

After a very successful fall concert, Diplo and Krewella, FUSA is happy to announce that we will be having a spring concert!

Kendrick Lamar, who MTV recently named the hottest MC in the game, will be joined by opener 5 & A Dime.

The show will be on May 1st, the last day of classes, and will be held in Alumni Hall.

FUSA Election Packets are Here!

Are you interested in running for FUSA President, Vice President, or Senate for the 2013-2014 school year? If so, the time is now to get the process started!

Election packets are due by February 11th at 8 P.M. in the FUSA Office, located in the Lower Level BCC. Additional important information can be found within the packet.

Siblings Weekend Registration is Open!

FUSA presents Siblings Weekend 2013! The theme of the weekend is Cartoons of the 90s!

The events will take place the weekend of February 22-24, 2013.

All undergraduate students are invited to bring their siblings, relatives, or friends to take part in this Fairfield tradition.

Registration and a schedule of events can be found here.

If you are interested in registering on campus, you may do that on Friday, February 22 from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. or on Saturday, February 23 from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith coming to Fairfield!

FUSA is proud to announce that we will be helping bring ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith to campus on February 5th, 2013! This will certainly be an event to remember, as Smith is one of the biggest figures in the sports world today.

Along with the help of L.E.A.D., The Office of Student Diversity Programs, and The Quick Center, the Fairfield Community will have the opportunity for a night with Stephen A. Smith in the Quick Center. Ticket details will come in January.
