Anger in the workplace erupting

However, a manager sensitive to this growing phenomenon can monitor anger and turn it into a positive force to correct or change work behavior, according to Donald E. Gibson, professor of Management at Fairfield University. Gibson has studied anger in the workplace since the 1990’s and has seen a significant rise among employees who feel the strain of the recession. Along with other researchers, he is collecting data and interviewing workers from seven different size corporations and businesses for a book that he plans to write about workplace anger.
