Alumni, lifelong learners, and Italophiles everywhere are invited to “Florentine Art, Spirituality, and Patronage in the Medici Dynasty’s Golden Age,” a ‘flying travel seminar’ to a city steeped in history and filled with some of the world’s finest art.
Dr. Philip Eliasoph, professor of art history, and Yael Eliasoph, lecturer in modern languages and literature, will lead the intergenerational tour from January 1 to 12, 2014, featuring on-site lectures on masterpieces by Giotto, Botticelli, DaVinci, Michaelangelo, and more. Additional day trips to Siena and Assisi are planned.
The Office of International Programs is offering the program, which will be based at the Fairfield University Study Center in Florence. For more information, call Sharon Wilcox at (203) 254-4000, ext. 4124, or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
