Community Engagement as Scholarship

The Journal of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (JoSoTL)
Encourages all instructors to engage in the discussion of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), and to become involved in the sharing of knowledge and learning about the teaching-learning process. The Journal provides a publication outlet for research in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and an on-line forum for engagement with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

Peer-reviewed, international electronic journal published twice a year by the Coulter Faculty Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning at Western Carolina University for the purpose of being an international vehicle for the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL).

International Journal for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
An open, peer-reviewed, international electronic journal published twice a year by the Center for Excellence in Teaching at Georgia Southern University to be an international vehicle for articles, essays, and discussions about the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) and its applications in higher/tertiary education today.

Journal on Excellence in College Teaching
The Journal provides a scholarly, written forum for discussion by faculty about all areas affecting teaching and learning, and gives faculty the opportunity to share proven, innovative pedagogies and thoughtful, inspirational insights about teaching. It is a peer-reviewed journal published at Miami University by and for faculty at universities and two- and four-year colleges to increase student learning through effective teaching, interest in and enthusiasm for the profession of teaching, and communication among faculty about their classroom experiences.

Kentucky Journal of Excellence in College Teaching & Learning is a peer – reviewed electronic Journal sponsored by the Kentucky Council for Post Secondary Education Faculty Development Group. The Journal is published by the College of Education, Eastern Kentucky University. General categories for articles include theory, research, and practice. In addition, the Journal will publish manuscripts containing media reviews, profiles, and commentary. The Journal targets the professional development of college and university faculty within the Commonwealth. Its primary goal is to enhance student learning by promoting excellence in teaching in higher education institutions in Kentucky. Its presence will also serve to further a national and international awareness of teaching and learning issues and best practices in higher education.

Peer reviewed, trans-disciplinary, open-access electronic journal created and supported by the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) .
