A Summer Experience in Athens

Kaitlyn Butler (’14), majoring in Communication and Art History, is in Greece for an intensive summer study program with College Year in Athens.  Here she is at the Acropolis Museum in the Parthenon Gallery with Dr. Katherine Schwab (Art History). Dr. Schwab’s drawings, on permanent display at the museum, are underneath the relief sculptures and reconstruct their original appearances. Kaitlyn is taking a course on the Archaeology of Greece, which has given her the chance to travel throughout the country. This experience was made possible thanks to the Visual and Performing Arts Department Larrabee grant.
