Theatre Fairfield ends 2009 with Student-generated Theatrical Pieces in A Class Act

cas_th_poster_aclassactFairfield University’s student performing group, Theatre Fairfield, ends the year 2009 with “A Class Act,” a series of original and favorite pieces of theatre devised, written, created and produced by students. “A Class Act” plays Thursday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. Performances are at the PepsiCo Theatre on the Fairfield University campus. Tickets are $12 for general admission, $6 for seniors and University staff and $5 for all students. This event is a part of the University’s 2009-2010 Arts & Minds series of events.

The work is performed in a series of four acts, which include devised theater pieces: “Bed Sheets,” produced and directed by Jen Martin ’10 and “Presumptions: Beauty,” produced and directed by Amanda Xeller ’11; “A ‘Spring Awakening’ Medley,” co-directed by Nancy Laskowski ’12 and Nicole Laskowski ’12 and “Thoughts for your Pennies,” an original one-act play written and directed by Kerry Davies ’11.
