Fairfield University students celebrate the Passover Seder at 42 Bellarmine in April

The Carl and Dorothy Bennett Center for Judaic Studies hosted its annual interfaith Passover Seder on Tuesday, April 3.

Dr. Ellen Umansky, Professor of Judaic Studies, assisted by Carolyn Rusiackas, Assistant University Chaplain, led the Seder. The ceremony included a brief explanation of the historical and theological connection between Passover and Easter, a tasting of the ceremonial foods and readings from the Haggadah.
