why fairfield

My choice of Fairfield was an easy one. I was looking for a combination of a strong scientific academic environment, a broad liberal arts education, all on a socially cohesive and beautiful campus.

Everyday Fairfield continues to deliver on its promise. I am so happy being here and I am continuously challenged by my professors to do better, and reach further to achieve my goals. Our weekends are great; my friends and I balance studying and social events.

I’ve also been involved in varsity track and field, specializing in pole vaulting.

Proud Moment

My involvement in building homes in New Orleans was very gratifying. It allowed me to put my lectures and discussions into action.

Designing my own major

My selection of an individualized major in science and a minor in the liberal arts reinforces the reason why I chose Fairfield. Our school has the ability to train the leaders of tomorrow no matter what interests they have. I chose an individualized major in Environmental science because it is so relevant to the issues that we face the world. It is both a natural science and a social science and Fairfield is able to bridge these so well.

What’s next after graduation

I expect that my future will be in healthcare with an emphasis on the environment and health.
